I'm on a countdown for summer! Why? Well, for two great reasons! Firstly I'm going back to my second home, Corfu on 31 May!
And secondly, just a few days before my flight, my next Corfu-set novel, Those Summer Nights comes out!
Mark Friday 27 May in your calenders because you won't want to miss Imogen and Panos' story! Mainly set in Acharavi, the book also takes the characters out to Arillas and to Corfu Town, so if you know the island you might recognise a few of your favourite places!
The Corfu community and those amazing Corfu lovers from the UK and the rest of the world have been so supportive to me. Two of my favourite Facebook groups are Corfu Forum and Corfu for You and I dip in and out of those every day just to see the fabulous photos - scenes, food and beer! It always makes me long for my place in the sun!
Talking of A Place in the Sun, Mr Big and I went up to Olympia in London yesterday to check out all things Greek property and we were lucky enough to meet the fabulous and glamourous, Jasmine Harman. We won't be appearing on the show - Mr Big is a little television shy - but I might have other news about A Place in the Sun in the coming months.
So, if you can't wait until Those Summer Nights is released there is something you can do to join in the fun on the day and spread the word about a great Greek read. I would LOVE it if you could support my Thunderclap campaign!
It's very simple and takes about ten seconds! Just click on the link below and add your social media support on Twitter/Facebook or both. This will allow Thunderclap to post one post/tweet on your social media accounts at 4.30pm UK time on 27 May. The post is there for you to read and it will only post once I promise! It's going to be so cool seeing everyone's posts bombard social media at the same time. We might even get #ThoseSummerNights trending on Twitter!
Here's the link to click! http://thndr.me/GPZZ2s
Finally, if you want to be one of the first to get your hands on Those Summer Nights, might I suggest a pre-order on Kindle? Paperback is coming soon! http://smarturl.it/thosesummernights

So, it's the day after the evening the Romantic Novelists' Association announced the shortlists for the Romantic Novel of the Year award and I am going to confess all... One Wish in Manhattan almost didn't get entered at all.
As most of you will know, digital publishing is fast and furious with tight deadlines and turn arounds and little room to spare. With One Wish in Manhattan's publishing date being 2 October and me flying out to Corfu on holiday on 1 October and not having a final typeset copy in my hands, I was torn. What did I do? Could I make the RNA deadline with something? I don't know why, but I just had a feeling about this Christmas story of mine. I just had to give it its chance, especially because it was the first year digital books were allowed to enter.
So I went for it! My editor sent me the latest Word version we had, I turned it into a PDF copy and I emailed and paid my entry fee blowing good luck kisses all over the envelope.
And look at me now! One of five vying for the title of Romantic Comedy of the Year.
I've attended the RoNAs before and it's a great evening. Last time I went, Richard and Judy were presenting the awards. This time it's Fern Britton. It's going to be a fantastic night full of fun with friends and plenty of celebrating whoever wins.
But today, more than anything, I am thanking the gods of free PDF software, because, without that, I wouldn't be in this fortunate position.

I am absolutely thrilled to finally be able to tell you my exciting news! *rolls drum*
One Wish in Manhattan has been shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists' Association Novel of the Year award in the romantic comedy category!
I am stupidly excited and looking forward to the awards night on 7th March! Bring on the fizzy!
A HUGE thank you for all your support and all the love there has been for this book! I appreciate every single share/tweet/book review or email telling me how much you enjoyed Hayley, Angel and Oliver's story!
I'm keeping everything crossed and stroking a rabbit's foot I can bring the prize home to Wiltshire! But, whatever happens, I am over the moon to have got this far!
Enough gushing... shall we have wine now?

It's February which means two things - pancakes and Valentine's Day!
Mr Big is a complete tosser... when it comes to pancakes... and he will be whipping some up for us all on Shrove Tuesday. For Valentine's weekend we have lovely friends coming over for a Greek feast. I have no idea what I'm cooking yet but it will be Greek and it will be easy... I hope... Doesn't anything taste OK with enough wine?
In book news I have just type 'the end' on my 12th novel and I hope to give you lots more news about that very soon!
Talking of news I have some HUGE news coming your way next week. I cannot say another thing... no don't try and tempt me... all I will say is it is VERY exciting and I can't wait to share it with you all!

It's a new year! Welcome to 2016!
I'm so excited for this year as I have so much planned! It's the year I turn the big 40 and I'm determind to push the boundaries and do many things I've always wanted to do in the next 12 months. I know you'll all be pleased to hear that my plans also include new books!
So have you made any resolutions yet? I have made just one and it's carrying on the theme of my novel, One Wish in Manhattan. When you're so busy you often miss the bigger picture. So I am going to try and not just fill the minutes but make every moment count. It's a big resolution and will take some work and a lot of tea and grumpets (giant crumpets if you've missed my numerous posts on Facebook about these delights!).
Again, thank you all for your support over 2015 and I really hope you'll continue following my antics and enjoy the new books I have in store for you!
If you're feeling a little low as we enter January then pep yourself up with my gorgeous, rough and ready bodyguard, Nathan Regan. Security is only 99p for a few more days on Kindle.
Share your resolutions with me in the comments section and maybe we can spur each other on to victory!
